TPN Credit Bureau

TPN is South Africa’s only credit bureau specialising in the collection of tenant behaviour and rental payment profile information. TPN was established in 2000 as a result of the difficulty faced when dealing with delinquent tenants. With the advent of the National Credit Act, TPN was registered as a credit bureau in 2007 and became the first credit bureau globally to specialise in the property industry. Since then, TPN has developed many innovative products such as the LeasePack suite of documents and formed close working relationships with select, specialist attorneys as a result. One of TPN’s biggest contributions to the property industry has been the creation of a rental payment profile, another global first which gives tenants the opportunity to improve their credit scorecard whilst renting premises and landlords or property managers, the ability to vet prospective tenants on their rental payment history.
